The Children's Christmas Sampler, a new Pebble Hill Plantation event for 2008, will offer a holiday-themed afternoon for children of all ages. The focus will be primarily on children's activities that will include a Treasure Hunt, a Secret Store, Children's Crafts, a Woodland Tree-for children to decorate, a visit with Santa Claus, a book reading with Mrs. Claus, etc. A listing of events and a schedule is available here.
The Main House will be open for a walk-through of the first floor, which will give everyone the opportunity to see this Georgia belle dressed in her Christmas finery.
Pebble Hill's newest resident - Sally, the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdale - will make her debut at the Sampler.
Everyone is encouraged to outfit their well-behaved pooches in Christmas costumes to enter the first Reindog Contest. Please remember that dogs must be leashed at all times.
Bring your cameras and join in the fun on Sunday, December 7th from 1:30-5:30 p.m.
Adult admission is $7 per person. Children under 12 years of age will be admitted FREE.
