Pwaf artists visit php

PWAF visiting artistsOne of the biggest events in Thomasville is the Plantation Wildlife Art Festival. Each fall the Center for the Arts brings the finest wildlife artists to town for a show and sale that is wrapped in gala events and fun for old and young alike. This year’s event carried on the tradition of excellence.

Many of the event’s patrons and artists include Pebble Hill on their lists of things they must do while in town. Artists Mark Eberhart and Courtney Peterson were the guests of Wallace and Debbie Goodman. Wallace brought the Eberharts, Courtney Peterson and Cathy Moore over to the Main House to view PHP’s new Elisabeth Ireland Poe Gallery. The group was enthralled with the newly renovated gallery space and overwhelmed by the quality paintings in Miss Pansy’s Sporting Art Collection.

If you haven’t seen the Elisabeth Ireland Poe Gallery, or if you have out-of-town guests who haven’t had an opportunity, be sure to put Pebble Hill on your “must do” list.
