Knott house exhibit "quest for quail"

Knott HouseBarbara Cohenour, PHP, Beatrice Cotellis, Knott House Director, and Jeana Brunson, Museum of Florida History Director, learn about quail hunting from a very flat Charlie Knott.  Charlie was enjoying hunting quail across the Georgia border in Leon County, Florida at the same time Miss Pansy and her guests were pursuing the small game birds at Pebble Hill. The new Knott House exhibit features, in addition to the flat Charlie, many of the necessities for quail hunting in South Georgia/North Florida.

Those of you interested in the southern quail hunting tradition will want to put “Quest for Quail” on your list of museum exhibits to see.  The Knott House is located at 301 Park Avenue in Tallahassee and information is available at
